When Manuel “Manny” Aguilar finished his military career, he didn’t know what he wanted to do. He says CU Denver helped him figure it out.
“I don’t think I would have gotten these opportunities with other schools that don’t have these programs.”
He pursued a bachelor’s degree at the Business School. He got involved with CIBERVets and learned about international business. Through Veteran & Military Student Services, he found a mentor who helped him land internships at World Trade Center Denver and Arrow Electronics.
“I don’t think I would have gotten these opportunities with other schools that don’t have these programs,” Aguilar said. “CU Denver has been great, very military-friendly.”
